Terms of Service
Last updated: October 14, 2026. This is a general, good-faith set of terms and isn't a substitute for legal advice.
Our Services
Your Tutor Online provides 1-on-1 online tutoring in accounting, corporate finance, Python, and statistics, offered by Frederick Weller to community college, undergraduate, and graduate students — including international students — as well as working professionals. We offer a free, no-obligation 30-minute intro session to prospective students.
Eligibility
Our services are intended for users 18 years of age or older. If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must review and agree to these terms on your behalf before booking a session.
Scheduling and Payment
Sessions are booked and scheduled through TutorBird, our scheduling platform, and paid for through Stripe. Tutoring is sold as single-session hourly rates or tiered packages, priced per subject, as shown on our Pricing page.
Package Expiration
Tutoring packages expire 60 days from the date of purchase. Sessions not used within that window are forfeited.
Cancellations and No-Shows
Please give at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a session. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the scheduled session, and no-shows, are charged as a used session (one session deducted from your package, or billed at the single-session rate).
Refunds
Sessions forfeited due to a late cancellation, a no-show, or package expiration are not refundable. If you have a situation you'd like us to consider outside these terms, contact frederick@yourtutoronline.com.
Academic Integrity
Our tutoring is intended to help you understand course material — not to complete graded assignments, exams, or coursework on your behalf. You're responsible for complying with your own school's or employer's academic integrity and conduct policies.
No Guarantee of Outcomes
While we're committed to helping you understand the material, we can't guarantee specific grades, test scores, or other outcomes.
Intellectual Property
Instructional materials, video content, and other resources we create remain the property of Your Tutor Online / Frederick Weller, and are provided for your personal educational use only.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Your Tutor Online is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of our services.
Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes means you accept the updated terms.
